the 16TH annual stocking stuffers for seniors was a huge success!

The L.V. Williams Foundation is excited to continue the Stocking Stuffers for Seniors Gift Bag Giveaway in 2023!  Started by our founder, Lucy V. Williams, 17 years ago, as a family mission of good-will, this has become a highly anticipated annual event that has brightened the holiday for many people.  We hand deliver goodie-bags filled with everyday essentials, and a few treats, to various senior centers, in addition to delivering a little heartfelt love and holiday cheer.

WHY DO WE DO THIS?

In keeping with our foundation’s mission, we simply want to serve and support families.  Seniors are, at times, the ”overlooked” family members during the holidays. Some recipients have no family or friends nearby, or, have no family or friends that visit.  For those particular recipients, our visit and gift bag are the only gift that they receive during the holidays.  In addition to the gift bags, The Williams Family provides special holiday cheer to the recipients by singing Christmas carols while they deliver the gift bags door to door.   We have had to modify for safety, but are happy to be able to provide this special event for our seniors.    It's a fun, festive event that brings joy to many residents each year.  

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Our gift bag goal for 2023 is 300 BAGS!   Each bag will include items listed below.  This is your opportunity to participate by donating items from the lists below to help us reach our goal of 300 gift bags. Be sure that the items are new, unopened (seals unbroken),meets the criteria below and any quantity is appreciated.
