To be eligible for this award, applicants must:

• Demonstrate at school and within the community the attributes of leadership, drive and integrity
• Demonstrate strong academic performance (minimum 2.5 grade point average/4.0 scale or equivalent)
• Be a citizen of the United States of America
• Be a current high school seniors attending high school in the United States (U.S. Armed Forces base and home schooled students are also eligible)
• Plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor’s degree at an accredited four-year college or university in the U.S. for the entire upcoming academic year.

Semifinalists will be required to provide a recommendation from a community leader, such as a high school principal, elected official or executive director of a nonprofit organization, and must provide documentation to certify academic performance and financial need. Finalists will be interviewed in person, via Skype or telephone by a member of the selection committee. Applicants should anticipate a response to inquiries within three business days. 

There are no separate application forms to fill out. You should submit a packet of all required materials specific to each scholarship and tuition award description.Some materials, like letters of recommendations and transcripts, can be sent separately. However, we recommend you submit all of your materials together in a single packet so that you know your applications are complete. We may not be able to confirm that we’ve received your other materials until after March 11, due to the large volume we receive.

Tips for Scholarship Applications

Notification of awards begins April 1 and continues through July 31.   Amounts listed are based on awards determined in October of the previous year.   Amounts for the current year may vary.
