Success In School Program

Our latest Success In School Summer Program was a GREAT Success. Thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, instructors and especially our attendees. We look forward to serving even more young people in our future Success In School Summer Programs! Following is information regarding the SIS Program, in preparation for next year's program:

What is the SIS Program?

The SIS Program was designed to offer students vital tools, information and resources to help them achieve SUCCESS in the upcoming school year. The Success In School Program is an interactive and fun learning environment that focuses on the attendee's noted interests, passions and learning style. Studies show that young people retain information best in environments that stimulate their brains, according to their learning style. Attendees will experience multiple sessions per night, filled with various interactive, educational and interesting topics, culminating into Saturday's BIG CELEBRATION!

Some topics & events included:

-Individual or Group Sessions (with board certified counselors)

-Tools for coping with Peer Pressure

-Social Media Discussions and Management

-Boys to Men Mentoring Sessions

-You Tube Channels & Podcasting

-College Readiness 101 or Vocational Options

-Great Food, Team Challenges, Giveaways, Prizes, Contests and MUCH MORE!

Program FAQs:

What is the age range for attendees?

Ages 12 - 18

Where will the program be held?

Program location is TBD, however, the program will be both in-person and online this year.

What are the program hours?

5:30pm to 8pm, Doors open at 5:30pm for social time

Will food be served?

No, as this is now an online program

Will my child be safe?

Yes. Attendees under 16 will have supervision at all times

What is the cost of the program?

$150 per child for the entire week! Grants may be available for attendees that qualify.

Every attendee will receive a backpack full of school supplies, a daily mantra guide and tools to promote daily positivity.

Health & Nutrition

SIS Song/Rap Contest

A certified nutritionist and fitness instructor will have a special session to review the benefits of healthy eating and exercise.

SIS Song/Rap Contest

Attendees have the opportunity to submit their original song or rap that will become the theme song for the SIS Program.
